Pure Taboo – Dixie Lynn

Published: April 20, 2021 SCENE OPEN Scarlet (Dixie Lynn), a barista working in a cafe. Scarlet, talking to Charlene, tells Scarlet that Gray (a college guy) is performing at the cafe as he does every open microphone night. Gray finishes his performance, and then begins to pack up his equipment. Scarlet rushes up to Gray, exclaiming about Gray’s performance. Gray glances at Scarlet, looking up and down. His smile widens, which indicates that he likes the things he sees. Gray exaggerates the extent of his achievements by claiming that an album is in the works and stating that he also has other projects in progress and is working with some exciting people. Scarlet takes it all in. Gray asks Scarlet if her shift is finished, and she replies that it’s ending right now. He invites her to return to his loft nearby so that he can give him a copy of his album. She hesitates. Gray assures her that he has a new track on his album that she will love, not wanting to miss this chance. Gray is willing to autograph the album for Scarlett! Scarlet accepts. Scarlet takes off her apron to tell Charlene that she’s finished with her shift. Charlene is still working on cleaning up so she just smiles and waves to Scarlet. But that smile soon turns into a concerned expression when Scarlet leaves with Gray.
